Horrible service, no communication with repeated messages and phone calls. Our order was suppose to be delivered on New Years Eve and it was FINALLY delivered 3 weeks late. Don’t be fooled by the nice website. There is also no way to get ahold
of anyone via the phone.
Do yourself and love one a favor by NOT ordering from this company,. Worst customer service EVER.
I ordered a WINE DUO (DUO = 2) with a box of HUGO BOSS (??!) chocolate. The wines were the wonderful Louis Jardot - 1 red and 1 white. I know them, they are fantastic value wines. $86 incl shipping is on the high side, but I live in Europe and were sending a gift to a friend who had surgery - price was fine.
What wasnt fine was, the one bottle of not-even-sauce-worthy wine that arrived... I googled it: average price is $6. The wines I ordered average retail $18-$25 each.
I sent a complaint to customer service who pointed out the fine-print and the fact they weren't obligated to refund or send additional products to compensate.
They blamed to global situation, which in many cases would be a valid excuse. But companies like these, have a golden opportunity to step up. Do something extra for a valued customer. Be better - the world needs it. Every order, is an opportuntiy to be good. Or at least: give the customer what they pay for.
I ended up paying $86 for a $6 bottle of red and a small box of chocolate.
Next time I have a friend coming out of surgery, I will send a letter-pigeon to poop on her porch, rather than use Hazzletons...

I ordered a holiday wine basket in December. It was not delivered until January 20. I called the number for customer service and there was nothing but a recorded message saying they can’t answer phone calls and you have to email them. I emailed multiple times asking where my delivery was and got no response. Finally someone wrote me back and said they don’t know where it is or when it will arrive because of Covid. They used UPS to finally deliver it. UPS deliveries had been in full operation the entire time. By the time the gift arrived, I had already sent a new one from a local vendor that arrived the day after I placed the order. Terrible company, don’t ever use them.
AND THEN 7 MORE DAYS DELIVERY WHICH COST $18!
