Here at Monthly Sommelier, we offer a wide variety of both pre-designed and custom gift baskets tailored to most major holidays and special occasions.  Both pre-designed and custom gift baskets can be further customized/adjusted using a variety of items and products that we offer, beginning from the type of container right down to the contents of the baskets themselves.  You can also add items to any one of our pre-existing packages simply by selecting them from the "Which Items Would You Like to Add?" section, and then following the prompts as they populate.  Bear in mind that we are only able to offer items that we carry in-store.

Custom Gift Baskets are essentially created from scratch and begin at $0, with the price increasing as you add more items.  Due to the large variety of products that we carry, it is impossible for us to list all of underneath our "custom" options, but once you indicate the type of product you're interested in (such as cookies, chips, chocolate ...) by selecting them, we'll design a basket based on a combination of your preferences and which items we have available at the time.

For special occasions and corporate orders, baskets can be customized using specific colours and/or items that you provide at your own expense.  To have these additional items included, they must be submitted to our facilities no less than 3 business days (5 business days for particularly large orders) in advance; our customer service department must also be made aware of these additions ahead of time either by calling our head office at 1-888-887-4306 or emailing cs@monthlysommelier.com for pre-approval of these additions.

Yes, all customers have the option to provide their own free personal greeting card message.  While placing your order online, simply select the "Add Message" button after you've added your basket to your cart; you'll then be prompted to complete the form by entering the name of the person you'd like to address the card to (and from), select "What type of greeting card?" from the drop-down menu and type your full, complete message in the "Add a message" box below.

If you realize you've forgotten to write a greeting card message, don't worry!  Simply e-mail us the message you'd like to include (you can always respond directly to your order confirmation/receipt), and we'll do our best to update it for you.  While greeting card messages technically aren't mandatory, we do encourage customers to write them because they are a quick and easy way of making sure recipient knows who the basket is from.  

If you'd prefer to provide us with your own physical greeting card, please contact us prior to placing the order so that we can make the proper arrangements.  All physical cards must be mailed to our warehouse and arrive no later than three business days prior to the date on which the basket is scheduled to be dispatched from our facilities; we will not be held accountable for cards that are delayed/lost in transit that result in them not being included in the final order.

When you place an order with Monthly Sommelier Gift Baskets, you can expect the order to be delivered with either the exact same or similar contents to what are detailed in the product description and/or depicted in the photograph on our website.  As per our substitution policy, minor substitutions are sometimes necessary and do occur from time to time, but we will always substitute products with similar items that are either equal to or greater than the original in value, while taking utmost care to ensure that your purchase retains its original theme and aesthetic.

Products and add-ons such as flowers/bouquets, fruits and balloons may appear different and vary slightly from time to time due to location, climate and current availability.

Although our facility is located in Toronto & New York, customers are able to place an order from virtually anywhere in the world using their preferred method.  You can either place an order online via the website, or request assistance via e-mail or live chat.

Customers can also contact our head office at 1 (888) 887-4306 to place an order by calling into our customer service department by, who is available to assist customers between the hours of 9:00 am – 4:30 pm EST, Monday to Friday.  The customer service department can also answer any questions you might have about the services we provide prior to placing an order.

We accept all major credit cards as payment, namely Visa, MasterCard and American Express.  When placing an order online, you also have the option to pay via PayPal with or without signing into an active PayPal account.  Although the Monthly Sommelier website does not accept Visa Debit as payment, you can similarly use PayPal to pay via Visa Debit instead by clicking the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" link after selecting the PayPal option upon checkout.

Our online POS system utilizes state of the art data encryption technology to ensure that your credit information is never viewed by or shared with unauthorized personnel.  However, if you do not feel comfortable entering your credit card information online, you are welcome to call our customer service department and have a representative place the order for you.
